We have an arrangement with two independent providers of services that will make your stay memorable. Chango Villa receives no commissions or fees for providing these services, but because of our own positive experiences, we feel very comfortable making these introductions. Within 24-48 hours of your arrival at Chango Villa, these partners will visit you to introduce themselves and understand your possible needs if any. This may include an introductory scuba course in the pool (PADI Dive Master), scuba diving in the amazing Cozumel Reef System, concierge services to help you make reservations (dinner, spa service, tours, etc.), or general information you may require when on the island. Prior to your arrival, you will be sent contact information for these individuals in the event you want to plan early.
After so many requests from previous guests, we are happy to say that we are now renting snorkel equipment at the villa. This is being done to provide a more cost effective and convenient solution. New snorkel equipment purchased in Cozumel or the U.S. can run close to $100/person not including airline baggage fees. Likewise, beach clubs renting snorkel equipment typically charge $30/person/day. Our solution is more cost effective and simple. Guests of the villa can rent snorkel equipment for $20/person/week when a release/responsibility form is signed on your arrival. The program villa will provide up to 16 sets of snorkel equipment in the following sizes: Adult Men, Adult Women, and Children. You can use this gear in front of the villa or feel free to take it anywhere on the island that allows snorkeling.

Having a cook is not only a great way to save money and effort, but you can enjoy some truly wonderful home-style Mexican and Yucatan dishes. Using our cook service represents a tremendous value over eating out in restaurants. Our cooking staff is amazing and repeat guests continue to use our chef service consistently. Our cooks come from a culture where the tradition of fine home cooking is as alive and vibrant as ever. Here's how it all works. Your cook will prepare breakfast, and a choice of either lunch or dinner every day except Sunday. The cook's expertise lies in regional cuisine. To simplify matters, the following is our daily menu with various options and substitutions.

All breakfasts include: assorted fruit, juice, bread, butter, jam and coffee. Main meals include soup or salad, side dishes and dessert.
Substitutions / Options... no additional charge: Breakfast: Fried eggs with bacon, Scrambled eggs with chorizo, Scrambled eggs with ham, Eggs Rancheros. Lunch/Dinner: Fish in garlic sauce, Fish Veracruz Style, Chicken Tacos, Chicken Quesadillas, Chicken Panuchos, Steak dinner, Vegetarian and Gluten free requests accommodated. There is currently a charge of $300 per guest per week (6 days) including food and the services of the cook. Children age 2-9 incur a $200 charge. Children under 2 are free of charge. If you desire lobster or steak at a meal, there is a surcharge of $50 per guest for lobster, and $38 for steak per guest. Cook service can be arranged for as few as 3 consecutive days; the daily rate is $75 per day for adults and $40 children. If you desire lobster or steak at a meal, there is a surcharge of $50 per guest for lobster, and $38 for steak per guest. The minimum is 4 adult guests. If the meal plan option is chosen, all guests in the party must use the meal service. Prices are subject to change. Once the service is booked, the charge is fixed at the price quoted at the time of booking the food service and will not be changed.
